Features: Benefits: High-speed printing The new-generation print engine enables the UP-CX1 to operate at high speed. Printing a 3.5 x 5 inches image takes approximately 13 seconds. 4 x 6 inches can be printed in approximately 16 seconds, 5 x 7 inches in approximately 17 seconds, and a 4 x 8 inches in approximately 21 seconds. High-speed printing of the UP-CX1 enables high volume printing in a short time, minimizing the wait time for customers. Compact and stylish design The compact and stylish design of the UP-CX1 allows it to fit anywhere even in the smallest of places. Easy maintenance The replacement of paper and ribbon is very simple. Because the paper is rolled with the printing surface inside, printing surface is protected against foreign substances such as finger prints or dust. Easy handling of the UP-CX1 minimizes the downtime during busy workflow. Variety of print sizes The UP-CX1 supports 4 different print sizes. User can select from 3.5 x 5 inches, 4 x 6 inches, 5 x 7 inches and 4 x 8 inches in accordance with usage. By using the optional paper holder UPA-CPH1, users can switch print size quickly and easily. Superb print quality The UP-CX1 utilizes Sony's dye sublimation technology. This means that the UP-CX1 produces photo-quality prints that are crisp, vibrant colors with natural, continuous tones. Hi-Speed USB interface The USB interface (version 2.0) makes data transfer fast and easy. PC and Macintosh operating system compatibility The UP-CX1 is supplied with a Windows printer driver software, which allows the images to be printed from various window applications. The Macintosh driver is available for download from http://www.sony.net/Products/DP-driver/. Security cable compatibility The UP-CX1 comes equipped with a security slot for protection against theft. Using a security cable that is already available on the market, the printer can be conveniently and quickly secured almost anywhere.
